Brian Doyle - Director, Ireland

Brian has a BSc Hons and Post Graduate Diploma in Biological sciences and is studying for his MSc in Business Improvement.  He has worked for some of the leading environmental consultants in the UK and Ireland with over 23 years’ experience in the environmental sector.

He was Ireland Operations Manager for Alpha Environmental and then he worked for 12 years for leading Environmental Consultant/Contractor RAW Technology. Brian ran the business for RAW in Northern Ireland and Ireland as an Associate Director.

He is a specialist in managing Environmental Pollution Incidents, with expertise in Environmental Damage Claims and has worked closely with Insurance Sector clients. Brian has also represented many of the leading Insurance Companies and Adjusting firms as an Expert Witness in recovery and liability actions.

Brian joined Seed at the start of 2019 and has setup an office in Northern Ireland to further grow our national coverage.  He is responsible for the operational management of the new region along with the continued growth of the business in Ireland. 

Daryl Patton - Director, ROI

After working in the building industry, Daryl joined industry leading Raw Technology in Belfast in April 2009. Daryl has worked in the environmental industry for over 15 years in various roles starting as remediation operative, before becoming civils team leader. Daryl moved to Raw Technology’s Sligo office in September 2016 taking up the role of site manager and then construction manager before joining Seed in May 2021 as regional operations manager for Ireland, he has been involved in the successful remediation of several thousand environmental projects.

During his many years of work in Northern Ireland Daryl regularly consulted the Northern Ireland Environment Agency on pollution cases affecting human health, air quality, sensitive river systems, soils and groundwater, buildings and infrastructure, and the wider environment.

During this period he has gained extensive expertise in environmental claims management, oil spill and pollution response, site investigations, contaminated land and groundwater water remediation including soil vapour extraction systems, in situ biological and chemical treatments.

Daryl has managed numerous complex and major spill incidents for clients across the Republic of Ireland including the OPW, Local Authorities, Windfarm Asset Management companies, and major adjusting firms. Daryl’s spill response experience has included a wide number of varied contaminants such as slurry, diesel, mineral oil, petrol, kerosene, vegetable wash, vegetable oil and xylene.

Daryl is responsible for operational management in the Republic of Ireland and the continued growth of ECM (Environmental Claims Management) along with the newly established Fire & Flood service in ROI.
