External Loss of Kerosene

Seed Environmental were recently instructed to attend a domestic site in the East Riding of Yorkshire following an external loss of kerosene to ground. The Seed team successfully excavated gross contamination from beneath the point of loss over an area of 4.00m2, and removed and replaced impacted external masonry over a 1.00m2 area. The internal skin of blockwork was successfully remediated in-situ using chemical treatments which minimised disruption for the homeowner and waste to landfill. The initial risks posed by the loss were successfully reduced, and the homeowner was pleased with the quality of work stating “Thank you and your team for sorting this for me” and “I very much appreciate your help and the guys were all great. I’m very pleased with how things have turned out and with the high standards of your work.”
